We’re a small company with a small budget. So it’s probably better to organise the event ourselves or go with a smaller organiser?
Our view is that you can do anything yourself…

…but its usually best to use a specialist who can do it right the first time and more efficiently. You may save money by using your own staff but in the end it will cost you more because they will be planning the event and running around, rather than doing their proper jobs and, as you probably don’t organise events every week, you’d better take care that it’s right the first time. That’s our job, and it’s a responsibility and risk that we’re perfectly willing to take.

…but we have also produced very successful events for small companies and non-profit organisations. The size of an event is not necessarily a measure of its importance. For example - introducing a company’s new management team or yearly results to the investment community targets a very restricted audience and demands a small budget - but it still has to be planned to have the desired impact.
